Student Accounts
Proceeds from student fundraisers go into a individual student fundraising accounts. This is not an actual savings account; the money is held in the Chorus Fundraising account until the student requests to use it for a music purpose. These fundraisers are a way for students to work to offset the costs of yearly high school adjudication trips for select groups or national festivals. Funds can be used for other music-related expenses that involve the Music Department: RIMEA All-State, music banquet tickets, and choral department apparel. Any unused funds at graduation can be transferred to another current music student (sibling or friend) or donated to the Choral Fundraising general fund to support future music students. (No cash refunds can be distributed from the accounts.) If the student for transfer has not been designated by graduation day, the funds will automatically revert to the Choral Fundraising general fund.
